1 Million 65 Thousand Drams for 5 Chairs: Another Purchase by the 'Revolutionary' Government
According to the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd', the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has purchased 5 mobile wheeled chairs through an electronic auction process, with a total cost of 1 million 65 thousand drams. The chair has the following technical specifications: 'Medium-sized chair on 5 wheeled bases. Crossbar with a metal base. The mechanism is rocking with the possibility of fixing in the working position and at different heights. The seat is 10 mm thick, made of plywood. The seat width is 500 mm. Seat depth is 480 mm. The seat is upholstered with 60 mm thick, 25 kg/m3 density foam and dense fabric. The maximum seat height is 500 mm. The minimum seat height is 420 mm. The backrest and armrests are made of plastic with the presence of additional ergonomic details. The armrests are attached to the backrest and the seat. The backrest height is 570 mm. The upholstery of the backrest is made of durable mesh fabric. The armrest height from the seat is 180 mm.'
It is curious to whom this costly chair, described in such elaborate detail, is intended. The question arises as to what other foolish ways the 'revolutionary' and more corrupt authorities have devised for wasting state funds.
