Egyptian Government Resigns

The Egyptian government has resigned. Local media reports this, citing the presidential office of the country.
President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has tasked Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli with forming a new cabinet.
On June 3, President el-Sisi met with Madbouli, who presented the resignation request of the government to the president. El-Sisi has instructed to form a new government involving highly qualified, informed, and experienced individuals.
The president has instructed the outgoing government to continue as a caretaker government, fulfilling its duties and responsibilities until the new cabinet is formed.
