‘Bagrat Serbazan is threatening them’ - Arayik Harutyunyan

Arayik Harutyunyan, the head of Nikol Pashinyan’s office, expressed his opinion on the movement led by Bagrat Serbazan during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly today, suggesting that the movement is fading away. He justified his viewpoint with his ‘political experience’.

“Based on my political experience, and also the course of events that I observe, leaders often lead themselves into a dead end; that’s the conclusion I draw,” said the head of Pashinyan’s office.

When asked whether he excluded the possibility of this movement growing and leading to a popular uprising, Harutyunyan responded, “Any person can express any complaint, lead a movement, and political forces operating in the field can assess the movements present in the field accordingly.”

Regarding the dialogue and reconciliation proposals put forth by Bagrat Serbazan, Arayik Harutyunyan reacted as follows: “Where has there been a proposal for reconciliation? When you come before a body or a department and threaten the heads of relevant bodies, it is unlikely that you will receive any positive response. And if there is a need for meetings, the representatives of those departments and bodies have said how that can be implemented.”
