Republic Square Will Be Completely Closed to Traffic Today

Due to the scheduled children's musical "Playlow" taking place in Republic Square on June 1, the section from Amiryan Street to Tigran the Great Avenue will be closed to traffic from 20:30 yesterday until 24:00 today. This was announced in a statement by the Yerevan City Hall.

“Traffic reaching Republic Square can continue only by turning right towards Vazgen Sargsyan Street. There will be no traffic restrictions for flows entering Republic Square from Vazgen Sargsyan Street. On June 1, from 18:00 to 24:00, the transport entrances to Republic Square will be completely closed.

During this time, buses no. 22, 44, 54, 58, 97 and microbuses no. 75 that normally pass through Amiryan Street will operate from Mashtots Avenue via Gr. Lusavorich and Agatangeghos Streets to Tigran the Great Avenue and along their usual routes. Buses no. 33 and 67 will operate from Mashtots Avenue via Amiryan, Zakyans, Khorkhorenats, Agatangeghos Streets to Tigran the Great Avenue and along their regular routes.
