Modular Mobile Shelters May Appear in Russia to Protect the Population
Modular type mobile shelters may soon be deployed in Russia to protect the population from modern weaponry, including nuclear weapons. A draft government decision has been published on the federal portal for regulatory legal acts: "The creation of civil defense facilities is being carried out using the construction of complete prefabricated structures and buildings, including block-modular types or other materials," the text of the draft states.
It is noted that the existing protective structures are currently insufficient to shelter the entire population. In mid-April, it was reported that a "Friday" system has been developed in Russia to protect infrastructures from drone attacks. According to its developer, it combines the best from industry and cybersecurity, allowing for the management of distributed devices across large area facilities.
