Murder in Odzun: 27-Year-Old Woman Kills 63-Year-Old Fellow Villager with Hoe
On May 27, at 17:55, the National Police's operational management center was informed by the Alaverdi medical center that they had responded to a report in a house on the 5th street of Odzun village, where they discovered the body of a man with blood-like traces to his head.
Upon arriving at the specified address, the operational-investigative group found the body of 63-year-old Levon Kh. near the entrance door of the corridor, showing signs of violence. A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of murder.
Thanks to the joint operational-investigative measures taken by the police department of the Lori region and the Tumanyan division, it was determined that around 21:00 on May 26, a dispute over personal issues occurred between Levon Kh. and a 27-year-old woman from the same village, during which she struck him with a hoe to the head, resulting in his death.
The 27-year-old woman from Odzun has been presented to the Tumanyan police division, where she confessed to the act. Both she and the compiled documents have been submitted to the Tumanyan investigative division. The murder weapon, the hoe, has been seized.
The 27-year-old woman from Odzun has been transferred to a detention center. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
