Bagrat Srabazan Responds to Whether Early Elections Are Being Considered
We are not considering early elections at this time; there is no need to even discuss it. This was stated today, on May 28, near the Sardarapat Memorial Complex, by Bagrat Srabazan, the leader of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement, in response to the question of whether it would be acceptable for him if the government were to consider early elections.
"We are not considering such a thing now; I will say it very clearly—we absolutely are not considering it. There is no need to even talk about it, as it is not a matter on the agenda at this stage," he said.
In response to a question about whether he went to the government summer residence and did not see Nikol Pashinyan, saying he has come here and yet he is still absent, suggesting that the person is fleeing, Srabazan stated: "I said that May is a month of victories, but it is already coming to an end." He added, "I have said that May is a good month, and May never ends."
Bagrat Srabazan emphasized that today marks a celebration of our state's restoration, that the crux of our entire history is in Sardarapat, and mentioned that they do not have a rally; they have come for a pilgrimage.
