How much money will be allocated to solve urgent problems in Lori and Tavush regions? Gnel Sanosyan responds
Currently, a meeting of the operational headquarters, established to manage the emergency situation caused by the heavy rains in Lori and Tavush regions, is taking place at the Alaverdi municipality, chaired by Gnel Sanosyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia.
The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure reports that the meeting summarizes the work done today.
Minister Sanosyan informed that the communities and settlements in Lori and Tavush regions that were flooded will be declared disaster zones by the government. According to the government's decision, 300 million AMD will also be allocated to solve urgent problems in Lori and Tavush regions.
The Minister also reported that throughout the day, inspections were conducted along the entire stretch of the M6 interstate road, up to the Ayrum station, where road and bridge collapses were recorded, and damages were documented.
Issues concerning the restoration of water supply, gas supply, and other communal facilities in Alaverdi and neighboring communities were also discussed.
The Deputy Director of the Rescue Service, Yegor Karapetyan, presented the rescue operations carried out throughout the day. The current needs were assessed, and questions regarding the involvement of necessary equipment for tomorrow's tasks were addressed.
