Emergency Landing of Flight from Russia to Armenia
A flight from Mineralnye Vody to Yerevan has made an emergency landing. Flight WZ 4331 took off three hours late but failed to reach its final destination.
According to DonDay, the flight was scheduled to depart for Armenia on May 28 at 09:45. However, prior to departure, a company representative informed that some modules on the aircraft were being changed. The flight was delayed by nearly three hours, and it finally took off at 12:40.
Once in the air, the aircraft was unable to gain the necessary altitude and circled for an extended period while it ran low on fuel. As per the Aviaincident Telegram channel, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 altered its course and made a landing at another airport due to fuel supply issues. The pilots requested an additional 15 minutes for fuel production and then decided to return to the departure point.
The aircraft successfully landed at Mineralnye Vody airport, and no passengers were injured.
