Fallen Soldier Ararat Aroyan Was from Agharakavan Village

A 20-year-old conscript soldier, Ararat Aroyan, has sustained life-threatening injuries under yet-to-be-determined circumstances. He was from the Agharakavan village in the Aragatsotn region and had just one month left before his discharge. This was reported by Khoren Kirakosyan from Agharakavan.

“Ararat came from a modest, intelligent family; he was the middle child, with an older brother who had served and a younger sister still in school. While it is not yet confirmed, preliminary information suggests that the incident occurred during a military exercise, possibly as a result of a clash of military equipment or other causes,” he stated.
