Israeli Forces Move Towards Rafah City Center
Israeli officials report that troops are advancing towards the center of Rafah city, while separate operations continue in other districts and suburbs. According to Israeli sources, more than one million people have already been evacuated from Rafah. Operations in the West Bank are ongoing; in Jenin, Palestinian sources report that 12 have been killed and more than 20 injured over the past two days.
On Thursday, Israeli human rights organizations released footage of a raid on a bakery in Ramallah, reportedly searching for teenagers who threw stones at soldiers.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned that there are new plans regarding the northern front with Lebanon, where conflict with the Hezbollah group continues. However, the government leader did not provide further details.
Meanwhile, anti-government protests continue within Israel, demanding the release of hostages who have been held in the Gaza Strip for nearly seven months.
