Ukrainian Armed Forces Attack Crimea

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have launched at least 16 missiles towards Crimea. Some of these were fired from the Odesa region.

The Russian air defense system has repelled the massive attack by the Ukrainian armed forces on Crimea. This was reported by Vladimir Rogov, the chairman of the Sovereignty Protection Committee of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.

“The Ukrainian armed forces are trying to deliver massive combined strikes on the Crimean peninsula,” the Public Chamber representative stated.

According to him, the attack was carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles and 16 ATACMS missiles. Explosions were heard in Yalta, Alushta, Dzhankoy, Simferopol, Yevpatoria, and Bakhchisaray.

In Sevastopol, maritime passenger transport has been suspended. The coordination of the strikes, according to Rogov, is being carried out by the American MQ-8 Reaper reconnaissance drone, which is flying in the skies over the Black Sea as close as possible to the strike locations.
