Western Weapons Are Already Striking Civilian Targets in Russia: Lavrov
Weapons supplied to Kyiv from the U.S. and other Western countries are already targeting civilian objects located in Russian territory. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a press briefing.
“American weapons are already being used against various targets outside the combat zone,” Lavrov said. “We proceed from the premise that American and other Western weaponry is striking targets in the territory of the Russian Federation, primarily civilian infrastructure and residential areas,” he emphasized.
According to Lavrov, Western countries are “waging war against the Russian Federation,” despite all declarations that they do not encourage or advise the use of weapons supplied to Kyiv on Russian territory. The minister also labeled such reassuring statements as “a trick” that the Americans are attempting to present to their public opinion or to NATO members.
