On May 26, We Enter the Third Phase of Our Movement: Bishop Bagrat

I do not believe that you can remain neutral in this situation, and you are not neutral either. This was stated today by Bishop Bagrat of the Tavush Diocese during a meeting with experts, analysts, political scientists, and representatives of NGOs.

“There cannot be a neutral person in our country today. I do not want to talk about black and white; it should be either black or white. One must either adapt to the lies of our reality or rebel against them. This is our specific reality; it is not outdated.

Today, the field is filled with so much garbage, especially from their side, that even the National Assembly podium is being used for this purpose. What concerns me is that the entire parliament can simply allow themselves to say everything about this movement, about us, irresponsibly,” said Bishop Bagrat.

He noted that the movement has three phases: “The first phase for us was the illegal process of delimiting the borders of Voskepar, Baghanis, and Kiran villages and their proclamation, as well as the protection of our people. We have moved that struggle to Yerevan, which is the only place for resolving the issue. The second place is probably Baku, but our opportunity is Yerevan. The second phase is a transition from emotional background to rational events. Until May 26, the second phase will be concluded, and we will enter the third phase, which I believe will be a complex, difficult, but enjoyable period for all of us. Because we see the conclusion with the logical end of this movement,” said the Bishop.
