The Kiranzi Road Will Be Constructed for the Berdzor Corridor: Bishop Bagrat

The border is not drawn, the border is demarcated under the enemy's dictation. This was stated by Bishop Bagrat during a conversation with journalists near the entrance to Kiranzi.

“Today, they are again placing a new gravestone on the Republic of Armenia, this has very little to do with the village,” he said.

Bishop Bagrat reacted with a smirk to the information disseminated by the Armenian Times website, owned by Prime Minister Pashinyan's family, claiming that the Armenian border guards are taking control of the demarcated section in Kiranzi, which is why there are police blockades and the entrance to Kiranzi is closed. “No institution in this country operates except for the Armenian Times,” he stated.

According to Bishop Bagrat, the Berdzor corridor will be constructed here.

It is worth noting that on May 15, after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on the demarcation process in Kiranzi, the residents of Kiranzi again blocked the road. Yesterday, police forces prevented opposition lawmakers and several cultural figures from entering Kiranzi. Opposition lawmakers were able to reach the village through an alternative route.

The National Security Service had issued a statement that preparatory work is underway to assume the protection of the border in the Kiranzi area of Tavush.
