Photos: Suren Papikyan Observes Frontline Reconstruction Works

On May 20, the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, visited the southeastern border zone of the Republic to monitor the construction and renovation works of the frontline fortifications, engineering endowments, and roads leading to combat positions.

Responsible officials and representatives of the construction company reported to the head of the defense department about the large-scale works being carried out and assured that the obligations undertaken will be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

The Minister instructed the commanders of the units to fully inspect the quality of the ongoing work and to submit any identified deficiencies through the proper channels.

Minister Papikyan also inquired about the enhancement of the protection zones of the military units and the creation of new infrastructures. The commander of the military unit reported on the daily intensive measures being taken towards engineering endowments.
