VIDEO: Gnel Sanosyan Arrives in Kiran, Tense Situation

This morning, a tense situation arose in the village of Kiran in the Tavush region. Kiran resident Khanum Tamrazyan, whose home will fall under Azerbaijani control after delineation, told Sputnik Armenia that Governor Hayk Ghaleumyan arrived in Kiran accompanied by border guard forces.

“They came to conduct delimitation work with a tractor, but the villagers did not allow it,” said Khanum Tamrazyan, noting that she and her neighbor have refused to leave their homes.

After the governor, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan also visited Kiran, attempting to speak with the residents. The administrative head of Kiran, Kamo Shahinyan, was also present. He informed the villagers that, according to his information, the Azerbaijanis will be positioned just 10 meters away from the newly drawn boundary.
