VIDEO: Border Guards Conduct Preliminary Survey in Kiran

Border guards are conducting a preliminary survey in the area of Kiran in the Tavush region. Also present is Edgar Hunanyan, the Deputy Commander of the National Security Service's border troops.
The exact timeline for the main deployment is yet to be determined, but border guards will be present in the Kiran area starting today.
It should be reminded that on April 19, Armenia and Azerbaijan's demarcation commissions agreed to begin the demarcation from the Tavush region. It was announced that the description of the specific sections of the border would be composed based on the clarification of coordinates resulting from geodetic measurements in the area, which is expected to be completed by May 15, 2024.
