VIDEO: Bishop Bagrat on Prime Ministerial Candidacy
Regarding the question of whether there is a final consensus on the selection of a Prime Ministerial candidate, Bishop Bagrat avoided answering, stating that such questions should be directed to political parties, politicians, lawyers, and constitutionalists. "These questions are not in my domain," said the Bishop.
When asked if there has been a proposal, for instance, regarding the candidacy of Avetik Chalabyan, he noted that there has not. "Avetik is a very close friend of mine, like a brother, but his name has not been mentioned at least until now," he said, and added with irony, "Instead, there has been talk about Gagik Melkonyan and Hovik Aghazaryan."
The Bishop urged not to rush. In response to a comment about how on the first day, he gave Nikol Pashinyan an hour on Republic Square, then 20 minutes to leave, while still no roadmap for the struggle has been presented, the Bishop replied, "Yes, we were hasty…"
