On May 15 at 14:05, the Crisis Management Center of the Lori Regional Rescue Department received a report about a citizen who had gone missing in Vanadzor city (suspected to have fallen into the Debed River). An operational group and firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

Rescue teams conducted search operations along the Debed River. On May 17 at 14:55, rescuers discovered the body of E.G. (born in 1966) in the Pambak River and retrieved it from the water. It was previously reported that the employee of the "Eden" restaurant had accidentally fallen into the river.

Arriving police determined that Eranuhi G., a 58-year-old technical employee of the restaurant, had left the establishment for a break. “Rescuers, police, patrol officers, the entire restaurant staff, and citizens spent several hours conducting search operations and found cleaning equipment and other items in the Pambak River next to the restaurant. According to preliminary information, Eranuhi G. accidentally fell into the river while performing cleaning work,” reported shamshyan.com.
