Seyran Ohanyan on Incident in Kiran

NEWS.am has reached out to Seyran Ohanyan, the leader of the ‘Armenia’ parliamentary faction, regarding the incident that occurred today in Kiran. Seyran Ohanyan stated, “Gegham Nazaryan’s emotional assessments do not reflect the position of the ‘Armenia’ faction.”

Earlier today, an incident took place in Kiran where residents expressed their dissatisfaction with the protocol signed by the delimitation commissions and blocked the interstate road. Gegham Nazaryan went to confront the villagers who had closed the road. The residents felt that Nazaryan came to urge them to reopen the blocked route. They demanded that Nazaryan clarify whether he supported their demands. His agitation reportedly escalated to a dispute with journalists, particularly with Ani Gevorgyan from newday.am.
