Gagik Melkonyan Responds to Questions About Prime Minister Aspirations
Recently, I advised Bishop Bagrat to take a hat with him, but he did not heed my advice. Now I advise him to put a hat on his head, because he has already been sunbaked, and something is happening to that man.
This was stated by Gagik Melkonyan, a member of the "Civil Contract" faction, in an interview with NEWS.am. He noted that there is no issue of impeachment in their party: "Our Prime Minister is legitimately elected. The topic is not even tangible. They should present their actual candidate, who they are constantly consulting with."
Regarding Bishop Bagrat's joking statement that the question of Gagik Melkonyan's potential prime ministership is under discussion, the parliamentarian said: "I do not have aspirations to become Prime Minister."
Commenting on the invitation for coffee from the opposition, Gagik Melkonyan said: "I do not drink coffee at all. That topic is closed for me; I have no desire to meet with anyone."
