Bagrat Bishop Appeals to Police and Special Forces
Yesterday I said it, today I say it again—to the internal troops, to the police, to the special unit—stay calm, guys. This was stated by Bagrat Bishop today, May 13, while commenting on the actions of the police during the disobedience protests that began this morning.
“They are corrupting you, they have corrupted you, but you have the opportunity to recover. These people are also fighting for you, so that this process does not happen to you. Remember, you will be going home, dragging young boys, young girls; yesterday you even pulled our hero's mother. A boy who has been martyred and killed for you. It would be better if you fought so fiercely against the enemies, not against those who have come to liberate you as well. I have said—those who do not go through this path, who are not detained, who are not arrested, will later have to answer why they were not detained,” said the Bishop.
According to him, not only is violence being used against citizens, but they are also subjected to psychological violence.
