Yerevan Metro Issues Announcement

As of May 20, the Yerevan Metro will launch a new service featuring a refurbished train made up of three cars. This announcement was made by the Yerevan Metro administration.

The train has been renovated over four months by the staff of the Yerevan Metro. It is expected to ensure a comfortable ride for passengers for another 3.5 years.

As a result, there will be four sets of three-car trains at the El. collection station, which will significantly alleviate the burden on the current wagons and improve passenger transport comfort.

According to the technical operation regulations of the Yerevan Metro, these works will be ongoing; expect more refurbished trains.

This week's report: Work at the Yerevan Metro is proceeding normally. During the reporting period, the number of passengers transported by the metro amounted to 534,057. A total of 2,794 train sets were deployed, including 442 three-car sets, 1,380 two-car sets, and 972 one-car sets. The planned passenger transport number was 531,548, resulting in a performance efficiency of 100.5%.
