Current Situation on Armenia's Roads and Streets: Ministry of Internal Affairs
There are currently no closed roads or streets in Armenia. This was stated by the public communications and awareness department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in a conversation with Armpress. Earlier, there were reports that Freedom Avenue in Yerevan, as well as the Yerevan-Meghri and Ararat-Yerevan roads, were closed.
The Ministry confirmed that traffic has been restored in these three areas, and there are no closed streets or roads in the territory of the republic at the moment.
It should be noted that the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement announced plans to begin peaceful acts of civil disobedience starting May 10. Starting from the morning of May 10, there were reports of the closure of Freedom Avenue in Yerevan, the Yerevan-Meghri road, as well as the Ararat-Yerevan road.
