Ukraine's Armed Forces Commander on the Frontline Situation
Ukrainian military units trying to maintain their positions in the Kharkiv region are facing significant challenges. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, according to TASS.
"This week, the situation in the Kharkiv region has deteriorated significantly. The situation is complicated; however, the defense forces of Ukraine are doing everything possible to maintain defensive lines and positions," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Syrsky added that all necessary measures and decisions are being taken to strengthen the defense, including personnel changes.
In the morning, the head of the military administration of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Synegubov, announced that more than 4,000 people have been evacuated from areas bordering Russia.
