Narek Simonian Defeats Azerbaijani Opponent

In the European Youth Sambo Championship, Narek Simonian competing in the 53 kg weight category advanced to the finals after defeating athletes from North Macedonia and Azerbaijan.

In the finals, Narek will face a representative from Ukraine.

Melina Arakelyan, competing in the 47 kg weight category, also reached the finals after winning against her Romanian opponent with a score of 9:0 and defeating a Bulgarian athlete 9:1.

In the 88 kg weight category, Seyran Sarukhanyan also made it to the finals, overcoming athletes from Moldova, Latvia, and Serbia.
