Police Report Detains Participants of Rally in Yerevan

In Yerevan, 41 participants of a rally have been detained by the police under Article 182 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Republic of Armenia. This information has been provided to the media by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.
Earlier, the 'National Front' Telegram channel reported that preliminary information indicated that about 50 citizens had been detained by various police divisions.
The 'Hayakve' initiative announced on their Facebook page that just before the detentions occurred, Menua Soghomonyan, a member of the 'Hayakve' initiative council, was taken into custody from the square near the station in Yerevan.
