People Are Psychologically Pressured: What Is the Situation in Kiran
In the village of Kiran, people are feeling psychologically pressured, tense, and in a state of uncertainty: 'We don’t understand anything – what to do, how to do it?' This was stated by a resident of Kiran in an interview with NEWS.am today, May 13th, adding that border demarcation and delimitation works have not yet resumed.
‘The children are already going to school, so what should we do? How can we leave them without education?’ the resident said.
According to the Kiran resident, there are military personnel and various representatives of law enforcement in the village. Currently, there are no closed roads in the village. It should be noted that a few days ago, Kiran resident Gohar Vardanyan reported on his Facebook page that villagers once again blocked the Kiran-Voskepar road and published a photo.
It is also worth mentioning that the 'Tavush for the Motherland' movement, led by Bishop Bagrat, demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan after reaching Yerevan and announced that political processes had begun. Bishop Bagrat also called on citizens to declare strikes and school walkouts everywhere to paralyze the capital. In recent days, many citizens have been detained during peaceful protests.
