Mirzoyan-Bayramov Negotiations Conclude, Armenian Foreign Ministry Provides Details
On May 10-11, 2024, negotiations took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov. The ministers welcomed the progress made on the issue of delimitation and the agreements reached in that direction. They and their delegations continued discussions on the draft bilateral agreement regarding the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The parties agreed to continue negotiations on unresolved issues where there are still disagreements.
During the visit, the ministers met separately and in a bilateral format with Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Murat Nurtleu. Minister Mirzoyan expressed his gratitude to the Kazakh side for hosting the negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
