Zelensky Confirms Russian Army's Assault on Kharkiv
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has confirmed the Russian army's assault in the northern part of Kharkiv region. According to him, intense battles are ongoing in the area at this moment.
"Russia may increase and intensify its forces, but we anticipated this and calculated everything," Zelensky stated, as quoted by the "Country Politics" Telegram channel. He added that there is still no complete clarity in Kyiv regarding the volume of reserves that the Russian Federation might utilize in this section of the frontline. Despite this, intense military clashes are taking place near the borders of Kharkiv region.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that troops from the "West" group of the Russian Armed Forces had taken control of the village of Kyslivka in Kharkiv region.
