If We Want to Have a State, Dignified Life, and Honor, This is the Path: Bishop Bagrat
If we want to have a state, a dignified life, and honor, we must act in love, peace, and justice; this is the path. This was stated by Bishop Bagrat during today’s rally.
“We are neither dispersing you nor diminishing you; on the contrary, we are obliged to inform you, to speak about mistakes, and not to give in to emotions while not destroying them,” he said.
He noted that tomorrow in ten locations across Armenia, including Yerevan and various regions, actions of peaceful disobedience and dissent will be carried out. “Naturally, we cannot inform you about these in advance,” he said.
He also urged for “civilized discussions” with the members of the ruling Civil Contract party. “By next Friday, all of you should have calm, courteous, and persistent discussions with the Civil Contract party members. It is very important that we can conduct some explanatory work, peacefully, without any aggression or insults,” he stated.
During the rally, Bishop Bagrat also tasked his followers to develop and formulate a clear concept for the delimitation and demarcation of peaceful negotiations by Sunday evening, as well as the continuity of those negotiations. “To show these people what we want. To demonstrate the difference, so that people know how they have been deceived and misled, and to understand the real picture that should exist,” said the Bishop.
“Secondly, our request is that former soldiers and reserve officers present a concept for enhancing state security,” he concluded.
