Pashinyan on Scheduled Meeting with Putin

Issues in relations with Russia are being raised, including the aim of eliminating negative nuances in the context of Armenian-Russian friendly relations. This was stated today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press conference, addressing the upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin tomorrow.

Referring to the statement made yesterday by Putin's assistant Yuri Ushakov, who mentioned that there are accumulated issues that need to be discussed, Pashinyan said: “Tomorrow I will be heading to Moscow to chair the EAEU Council meeting, and I will also have a bilateral meeting with the President of Russia. The agenda is very diverse with Russia. During this period, there are many accumulated problems, some of which have already been raised. We have never believed that these issues are raised just for the sake of raising them. We believe that these issues are raised, among other things, with the aim of eliminating negative nuances in the context of Armenian-Russian friendly relations.”
