Major Traffic Accident in Shirak Province: 6 Injured
A major traffic accident occurred today, on May 7, in Shirak Province. At approximately 3:00 PM, vehicles including a 'Nissan', a 'Volkswagen Passat', and a 'VAZ 2107' collided on the Gjumri-Bavra highway, in the administrative area of Mets Ketik village, as reported by Shamshyan.com.
As a result of the accident, 6 people were transported to the Gyumri Medical Center with varying degrees of bodily injuries. Four of the injured were taken to the hospital by doctors, while two were transported by citizens.
Firefighters have cut off the power supply to the vehicles, shut off the gas tanks, and carried out monitoring on-site. Following the investigator's instructions, the vehicles were moved to a designated area secured by the police.
According to preliminary information, the 'Nissan' was the cause of the accident, as it crashed into the 'VAZ 2107' while heading towards Gyumri, subsequently veering into the opposite lane and colliding with the 'Volkswagen Passat', partially ending up in the middle of the road.
