Macron Plans to Discuss Ceasefire Issues with Xi Jinping for Ongoing Conflicts

French President Emmanuel Macron intends to actively discuss the issue of ceasefire for ongoing conflicts with Chinese leader Xi Jinping during the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Macron shared this in an interview with La Tribune, as reported by TASS.

Macron noted that the Olympic truce should send a message to the entire world, emphasizing that this topic will also be addressed with the President of the People's Republic of China. According to him, this includes discussions about ceasefire in all conflicts, including Ukraine.

“We must try to achieve a ceasefire everywhere,” said the French leader, stressing the necessity of efforts to reach a ceasefire worldwide.
