Armenia Follows and Must Pursue Independent Foreign Policy: Prime Minister

The Republic of Armenia is a sovereign state, and we must regard this not only as a goal but also as a principle of our actions and behavior. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press conference, emphasizing that Armenia conducts and must conduct an independent foreign policy.

“It is also very important to take sovereignty as a basis for internal relations, in the sense that internal legislation and internal relations should be regulated according to the will of the people,” said Pashinyan.

He noted that the purpose of Armenia's existence is to ensure the freedom, happiness, and well-being of its citizens as well as the people living in the Republic of Armenia.
