Body of Man Found Hanging from Tree in Malatia

A tragic incident occurred in Yerevan on May 5. Around 14:10, operational information was received by the Malatia division of the Armenian Police regarding a body hanging from a tree in a field adjacent to 115/4 Raffu Street.

According to Shamshyan.com, police and patrol officers discovered the body of 48-year-old Karen A., a resident of Yerevan, hanging from the tree. Preliminary conclusions from a forensic examination indicated that there were no signs of violence on the body upon external inspection.

Based on the investigator's decision, a forensic medical examination of the body has been appointed. A criminal case has been initiated in the Malatia investigative division on the grounds of 'suicide.'
