Metropolitan Announces New Details About the Tragic Incident

The Yerevan metropolitan has released a statement: "Dear passengers, we inform you that on April 21, at around 8:00 PM, an emergency incident occurred in the subway. A citizen, B.A., born in 1996, committed suicide by jumping under the train arriving at the 'Zoravar Andranik' station.

By the order of Acting Director Babken Sedrakyan, the Yerevan metropolitan has temporarily switched to single-line two-way traffic (from 'Garegin Nzhdeh' station to 'Sasuntsi David' station and from 'Sasuntsi David' station to 'Barekamutyun' station)."
