VIDEO: Young Man Who 'Drifted' Near Public Television Arrested

On April 30, officers from the Patrol Service of Yerevan received information regarding an incident that occurred around 7:10 PM. A young man was reported to have displayed disrespectful behavior towards the public in the vicinity of the Public Television building while driving his Mercedes vehicle.

He grossly violated public order as well as traffic regulations, performing what is known as a 'drift'. Following the actions taken by the police, the identity of the driver was established.

The 21-year-old young man voluntarily appeared at the Marash police station with his Mercedes after being informed about the situation. He was arrested on reasonable suspicion of hooliganism.

The vehicle has been moved to a secured area of the Central Police Department, and the relevant documents have been transferred to the investigative unit.
