VIDEO: Yerevan's Transport Hub to Be Reinforced with 15 New Trolleybuses and 171 New Buses

Yerevan's transport hub will be reinforced with 15 new trolleybuses and 171 new 8.5-meter buses. The information was reported by the Yerevan municipality.

It is noted that the procurement competitions for the new trolleybuses and new buses are nearing completion.

“Within six months, the supplying company is obliged to deliver 171 new 8.5-meter buses to the city of Yerevan. These buses are planned to be used to replace the old 'Higer' buses, and there are also plans to make changes to certain routes and serve them with this new batch,” said Vazgen Harutyunyan, head of the transport department of the Yerevan municipality.

According to him, there is also a winning organization for the supply of 15 trolleybuses. Financial resources have been allocated for 8 trolleybuses, and funds will also be allocated for the remaining 7 in the near future.
