Tomato Paste Production Suspended

The production of tomato paste has been suspended following laboratory testing results. Inspectors from the Republic of Armenia's Food Safety Inspection Body conducted an inspection at the canned goods factory of "Har-Ma Brothers" LLC, located in Geghanist village, Ararat province, and collected samples of the produced tomato paste for laboratory examination.

The testing revealed that the "Tomato Paste" product contained mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms from the B. subtilis group and mesophilic clostridia (excluding C. Botulinum and/or C. Perfringens), which do not meet the standards of the Eurasian Economic Union and are considered hazardous food products.

As a result, the specific production activity of the canned goods factory, namely the production of tomato paste, has been suspended, and a deadline has been set for correcting the identified violations.
