New Speed Camera Installed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Road Police inform that, considering the lack of monitoring the adherence to the established maximum speed limits using photographic technical means creates favorable conditions for a number of drivers to exceed the speed limits, leading to the emergence of accident-prone situations, in accordance with Article 22 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Police, photographic technical means have been transferred from another location and installed on the M-4 highway section (known as the Ardziv's wings area) at the 14th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Armenia state border route, where the permissible speed limit is 70 km/h.

The photographic technical means will be operational starting from May 6.

The Road Police urge drivers to adhere to traffic rules.
