The President is a Traitor to the Country, Says Georgian Prime Minister
Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili is a traitor to the country, undermining the national interests of Georgia. This statement was made by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. This was reported by sputnik-georgia.ru.
"The saddest part is that the person who is still legally referred to as the President of Georgia is simply a traitor to this country in the literal sense of the word; he is directly betraying the national interests of Georgia, which, unfortunately, is not an unusual phenomenon," said Kobakhidze.
The head of the Georgian government personally apologized for Zurabishvili being the country's president. "It is just unfortunate that today this person is called the President of Georgia, for which I want to personally apologize to the Georgian society based on the fact that I have personally contributed significantly to his becoming president," noted Kobakhidze.
On April 18, Zurabishvili expressed hope that the ongoing rallies against the so-called 'foreign agents law' in the country would continue and become part of the strategy for the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 26, 2024.
