Opel Collides with Horse on Yerevan-Yerashkh Road, Horse Dies, Several Injured
On April 30, at 02:44, the crisis management center of the Ararat regional emergency rescue department received information regarding a road traffic accident on the Yerevan-Yerashkh highway, and the assistance of rescuers was required.
The emergency service reported that a firefighting and rescue team from the regional emergency rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that at the 30th kilometer of the Yerevan-Yerashkh highway, an Opel vehicle (driver H. B., born in 1999) collided with a horse, resulting in the death of the horse.
Before the arrival of rescuers, the driver and passengers G. S. (born in 1999) and A. A. (born in 1999) were hospitalized. The medical condition of the passengers was assessed as moderate, while the driver's condition was serious. Rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery and shut off the gas tank valve.
