US Continues to Support Prime Minister Pashinyan's Vision for Armenia's Future, Blinken

The United States continues to support efforts related to Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's vision for a prosperous, democratic, and independent future for Armenia. This was stated in a message from the State Department following the phone conversation between Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Pashinyan.

“Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to reaffirm US support for progress on a sustainable and dignified peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Secretary Blinken reiterated that the United States welcomes the Almaty Declaration as a basis for delimiting borders, affirming Armenia and Azerbaijan's agreement. The Secretary emphasized the ongoing US efforts to support Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as Prime Minister Pashinyan's vision for a prosperous, democratic, and independent future for Armenia,” the message stated.
