VIDEO: 'Armenia is a mother, we do not surrender our mother' - Women Hold Silent Protest in Yerevan.

"It is time to rebel," "The end of evil is near," "Tavush is our homeland," "Stand up, before they surrender you too," "Armenia is a mother, we do not surrender our mother," and other banners were displayed during a silent protest march in Yerevan today.

According to a correspondent from Sputnik Armenia, the action was organized by the women's initiative 'Babon ter a' in support of Tavush and against Citizen's Day.

Women participated in the march with their young children. Participants walked through the central streets of the capital, ringing bells and calling for awareness among the public.

As a sign of protest, they closed their mouths with red adhesive tape, which bore the message 'Do not be silent.'
