Video: 6 Citizens Detained During Protests in Yerevan
During a protest held today in Yerevan, a total of six citizens were detained on grounds of not complying with a police officer's lawful requests. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia informed ‘Factinfo’ that one person was taken into custody near Republic Square for actions stipulated under Article 182 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
Additionally, five individuals were detained from a protest on Isakov Avenue for the same reason.
It is noteworthy that protests were again held in Yerevan today. Members of the ‘Reject the Madness’ initiative blocked Isakov Avenue, resulting in prolonged traffic congestion and delays. They chanted slogans such as “Nikol the Traitor” and “Nikol the Betrayer.”
