The Number of Victims in the Bus Accident Has Increased by One

Updated Incident Near Verin Khotanan Village

On April 27, at 5:27 PM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a bus had veered off the road and rolled down a ravine near Verin Khotanan village in the Siunik region.

A rapid response team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, led by Colonel D. Hovhannisyan, head of the regional rescue department, as well as two units from the fire-rescue squad and one from the primary aid post in Agvan, were dispatched to the scene.

According to preliminary data, there are 5 deceased and 9 injured. Operations at the scene are ongoing.
