“How can you remove the mines so that the Turk comes to terrorize us, to sacrifice our children?” says resident

Residents of the village of Kiran in the Tavush region continue to block the bridge that runs through the community. The residents of Kiran are concerned about the demining operations which, according to them, the authorities are preparing to carry out.

“I don’t understand why the mines were placed there in the first place if you’re removing them today. You cannot trust the Turk. You are thirsty for our blood and our children's blood; why are you removing them? I am amazed at how the Armenian people can sleep soundly at night with their heads on the pillow. They will reach you too; it will be too late. You live for the epaulettes,” said one of the residents of Kiran, urging everyone to stand up and fight against it before it is too late.
