Are Forces Pressuring Us or Do They Not Perceive Armenia as an Independent State? Simonyan on Matviyenko's Inquiry

“I regret that on April 24, when talking about the friendship between the Armenian and Russian peoples, not a single sentence was dedicated to the Armenian Genocide. This was stated by Ararat Mirzoyan while commenting on the announcement made by Valentina Matviyenko, the chair of the Federation Council of Russia, regarding the inquiry sent about the anti-Russian statements made by the President of the National Assembly of Armenia. He noted that he has not yet received the inquiry.

The issue is that they do not perceive that Armenia should operate as an independent state. In their perception, we are still in the periphery.
